and why do you choose one over the other?

I would definitely say Bahama Breeze. The problem with Maggiano's is that they have "family style dining". That means, everyone's portions are huge, and everyone shares. That might be fine for a smaller group, but it will be hard sharing with 15 girls, as I'm sure people have different likes and dislikes. I went there once with a large group and it took forever for everyone to coordinate and decide. Prices there are like $20 - $30 a person.

At Bahama Breeze, each person can order what they like. Knowing teenage girls, there will be a lot of people eating side items / appetizers as meals. This might keep the price down, probably around $15 - $25 per person.
