  2. Hi there,

here are some ideas for your treasure island party!!

I love the idea for your invitations you may also want to try this method too:

You can soak your invitations in coffee (used computer printed paper) then dry in a mircowave and crinkle them.

(you could always do a sample of the invitation and see what way you like better!!)

    Decorations:

Create a nautical theme with navy blue decorations, and hang a net from your ceiling for added ocean flair.

Once your room is shipshape, decorate with gold-wrapped coins and gaudy costume jewelry -- beads left over from a Mardi Gras party would be perfect. A treasure chest can be easily fashioned out of a cardboard box. Paint it or cover it with paper, adorn it with jewels, and line it with richly colored fabric before filling it with your stolen booty.

For some Caribbean flavor, add lush greenery like palms, tropical flowers and coconuts.

Hang old treasure maps on the walls, use priate hats as centerpieces for  faux jewerly or coined chocolates!

    Party Favors:

Party favor bags should look like bags of loot. Use small burlap sacks or brown paper bags and tie them shut with twine. Fill them with chocolate coins, candy necklaces and fake jewelry.

    Activites:

Planning a treasure hunt? Give each guest a map as they arrive. Hand out clues right before the hunt so no one cheats (although cheating is very piratey). To make it more challenging, write the clues in rhyming couplets or be deliberately confusing.

    Musical Island:

Only one island is treasure island, who will be the one to find trasure island & the map that lies beneath?

Cut out constructionm paper in different color in shapes of small islands and draw a plam tree on each one with different numbers.  Play the music and the children had to stop on an island when the music stopped. then call out a number and if a teenager was on that number island called they were out they took their island with them. The last remaining teenager on their island was the winner. which recieved then the map to find treasure island.

    Food:

~ fish and chips w/ tarter sauce

    ~ fish tacos

~ fish sticks and tater tots

    ~ jerk chicken

    ~ pinapple boat fruit salad:

1 fresh, ripe pineapple (for more on buying and preparing fresh pineapple)

2 Tbsp. natural syrup (like maple syrup or brown rice syrup), or brown sugar

An assortment of fruit, such as pineapple, bananas, star fruit, strawberries, watermelon, grapes, etc...

    Directions:

Cut pineapple in half still having leaves attached.   Cut out the pineapple from the inside leaving about a 1/2 inch of the pineapple in the inside and and use the pineapple from the half of pineapple which was cut.

    To make fruit salad:

To make the fruit salad, peel and cut up the fruit you have chosen into bite-size pieces. (If you have carved a pineapple, add chunks of the carved out fruit to the mix.) Place fruit together in a mixing bowl.

In a cup, mix together the lime juice with the syrup or sugar.

Pour the lime juice/syrup (or sugar) mixture over the fruit and gently mix the salad. Do a taste-test, adding more syrup or sugar if not sweet enough for your taste. Note: the brown sugar may be a little granular at first, but the natural acids of the fruit will soon break it down.

If serving in a carved-out pineapple, spoon or scoop the fruit into the pineapple (reserve as much of the liquid as possible, since the extra may leak through the bottom of the pineapple. When actually serving up the fruit salad, you can spoon the reserved liquid over each portion). Garnish with a few leaves of fresh basil, if desired. Note: be sure to place a plate or bowl under the carved-out pineapple, as it may leak.

    Drinks:

    Watermelon strawberry smoothies:

2 cups diced peeled seedless watermelon

    • 1 1/2 cups diced strawberries, frozen

    • 1/4 cup chilled guava juice or guava nectar

    • 2 small strawberries, for garnish

    Directions:

Combine diced watermelon, frozen strawberries and chilled guava juice in blender. Puree until smooth. Pour smoothie into 2 glasses. Top each smoothie with strawberry.

    ~fruit punch

    2 pkg. kool-aid cherry flavor

    4 liters soda water

    1 can frozen lemonade concentrate

    1 can frozen pineapple concentrate

    sugar

    Directions:

Make up the kool-aid ahead of tume, by dissolving in a small amount on water (as little as possible). don't add sugar!! cool this mixture.

With everything cold, mix it all together, just before the party. you can add sherbert to keep it cold or make ice cubes, or an ice cube ring, using the kool-aid mixture. You probably won't need to add any sugar to this, as the soda, lemonade, and pineapple juice should contain plenty.

    Pirate ale:

1 (4.6 oz) package cherry flavored sweetened soft drink mix

1 (46 fluid oz) can unsweetened pineapple juice

1 liter lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage (such as sprite or z-up)

1 (6 oz) can frozen orange juice concentrated, thawed

1 (6 oz) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

    Directions:

In a punch bowl prepare drink mix according to package instructions. Stir in pineapple juice and lemon-lime soda. Mix in the concentrated orange juice and lemonade. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

~ Or serve a bucket full of bottle soda

    Music:

(play the soundtracks of this cds to give your party the extra touch of the treasure island theme)

    1. peter pan

    2. priates of the carribean: curse of the black pearl

    3. captain blood

    4. Mutiny on the Bounty

    5. Cutthroat Island

    6. Treasure Island

  3. first give them invitation find the invitation that has pirates than buy those pads to cover one eye and get a cake that have pirates buy bottle and sand put the sand in the bottle and white note and put it in the bottle and so they could go around the house and find treasure that are some ideas for u i hope u like my ideas
