15th birthday party!!?

Question

okay for my 15th birthday party i wanted to have a theme called meredith's treasure island! you kno like the one in las vegas.... but i need ideas for activites, decor, foods, etc.

uhmm the only ideas that i have are people dressed like a pirate and for invitions i was going to send them out in little bottles with sand and shells, and then burn the sides of paper. wich would be the invitation.

Idea from Gin, gold chocolate coins is a great idea. How about having a treasure hunting game? Whoever wins gets a prize.

chocolate candy coins, the ones with gold silver and copper shiny wrappers, in a "treasure chest". you can get them at a bulk candy store/do any of your friends have a parrot or macaw they can bring over? /think grass skirts and eye patches/ look at oriental trading company on line, neat stuff for pirate party
