Question:

16, getting a tattoo?

I just have no idea what to get. I want it to mean something to me, and i dont want it to look childish like those tattoos with the curly swirls and all that extra stuff. I just want a simple tattoo that is not childish but would suit my age. I wanted to get a butterfly but it has no relations to me and I'm afraid I'll regret it. How did you come about choosing your tattoo? was it your favorite fruit or animal ???? orr???

  1. I got a bear holding a shark..

I don't know if that helps you..

  2. Don't get a tattoo, they do NOT look good on girls. Just makes you look trashy.

  3. You could get a Japanese symbol.

like and inspiring quote or word.

  4. what ever u decide to get just dont get a tramp stamp- on your lower back right above your crack

  5. I feel you are to young to get one anyway because you will regret it as you grow up. Believe that, I don't care what you get or how small it is

  6. You'll regret getting any tatto... and if you want one to suit your age tattoos are permanate and you will keep on getting older and that tattoo you got when you were sixteen will still be there when you 72...

  7. Yeah, butterflies are over done, get something original.

  8. well then you have 2 years to figure out - then you will be 18yo and legally able to get your tattoo

i picked mine bcse they had to do with my life-

i love butterflies so i one on my ankle as my first when i turned 18yo

then i got a butterfly on my back - my mom got the same but on her wrist

3rd was a seahorse on my thigh- my dad loves them so i wanted to have something to keep him with me

4th i got a vine on my foot- i will add small butterflies as i marry and we add kids

5th i got 3 butterflies on top of my shoulder for my past present and future

  9. In most areas, you cannot get a tattoo at 16 anyway.

I really like how you "want a simple tattoo that is not childish but would suit my age."  Sweetie, you're 16, you ARE still a child.  Wait until you're 18 then you can get whatever tattoo you want.  No only that, but you'll be glad you didn't get what you thought you might want today.

  10. Get something small and easy to cover. That way, if you do regret it, you can cover and hide it easily. Plus, if it is small, lazer removal would be simplier and cheaper, if one day you do regret it.

I have a heart centered between my hip and pubic bones. =] I love it.

    Simple yet s**y

    =]

  11. I'm all for Tatoo's, but 16 is far too young to decide if you like it for the next poss 70 years!

    Total Madness!

  12. you should wait truth me. i got my first tatt when i was 14 and then  after that i got another one when i turned 16. now am 19 and i want to take them off. i don't really regret. its just that i am a mom and it doesn't it look good on mothers you know. both of my tatt goes with my life.

  13. your too young for a  tattoo you should wait until you think about it really good and is your mom letting you do this because if she's not then how's going to take you I say just think about it a little longer.

  14. Tattos are cool, but I would wait until at least 18.

If you do get something, make is small and not all the c**p around it.

  15. If you don't know what you want, then you are not ready. You will KNOW it when you see it. Its just that simple. (And it's okay to wait.)
