Hi, i am 17 years old and my friend is 16 years old, we are taking a road trip over spring break down to california( i live in washington) and we are looking for places to stay along the way such as hostels that will accept 16 & 17 year olds to stay there without an adult. Its not that our parents dont know were going, its just that we are taking this trip with out them and most places you have to have an adult over 21 accompanying you. any information would be GREATLY appreciated :)

i'm sorry if this makes any of you uncomfortable as the first poster mentioned, i am not a middle aged creep! haha, i am 17 years old, the reason for the road trip is its going to be spring break and my friend and i have no plans and really want to get out and have an adventure! thank you for your help though it really is much appreciated! and i will keep in mind everything, i know it is very difficult to travel like this without being of legal age, but thats why i'm asking for help :)

  1. if your parents call ahead to hotels and give their credit card number and their permission for you to stay some places will let you check in and stay with no parents.

  2. for a starters whats wrong with middle aged creeps as you put it.

middle aged creeps have more sense than you 16 and seventeen kids.who are not quite otta their nappies yet.

why dont you start to grow up for starters.

or is that too difficult for you.

have you any idea whats out in that big world..I doubt it.

you may learn the hard way if you survive..
