16 DAYS LATE!!! WHAT'S GOING ON???

OK MY LAST LMP WAS JUNE 23 I HAVE TAKE A LOT OF HPT AND A BLOOD TEST ON CD 40 NOW I'M ON CD 46 ALL NEGATIVES THIS IS THE FIIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I'M SO DAMM LATE I HAVE 5 KIDS AND I'M 22 YEARS OLD WHAT'S GOING ON???

omgosh you are a busy busy girl lol, that is weird your dr. doesn't seem to be worried so all you can do is wait a little longer even though i know how thats the worst but maybe stressing on it is causeing it to hold off even more!!

Wow! It sounds to me like your hormones are out of whack for some reason. I would have thought if you are that late that the blood test or hpt would be positive. However, stranger things have happened... Maybe test again in a week or so if your period hasn't started. Good luck.

I have gone both ways.  I have skipped periods and I was not pregnant.  I have also gotten my period 2 weeks after my last period.  (my normal cycle is between 28 and 32 days).

Well you are really late. And if you doctor is not ordering more test I would get a second option. We as women always think when we miss a period its automatically a pregnancy. It could be that something else maybe wrong with us health wise. In your case, I would pray that its not another baby, unless that's what you want. Good Luck with everything!!!

You might just be experiencing late ovulation and therefore a late period as a result.  Or, you could be having an anovulatory cycle where you didn't ovulate.  Eventually you will experience a period.  If it continues too long, pay a visit to your doctor.

BTW, why are you shouting??
