16 Lines of German Text from late 18th century?

Question

Can anyone confirm this German text is grammatically OK and is spelled OK ? It comes from a handwritten text around 1785. Perhaps the spelling is wrong ? Please offer your views. It starts with -

Ach! Wo seyd ihr? schönste der Stunden,

Voll von Liebe und Zärtlustkeit

Feinen Schwüren ach! Seid verschwunden,

Hält ich frühen das bereit

O! daß noch für den Verbrecher

Dieses Herz so feurig spricht:

Schone seiner, großer Rächer!

Strafe seinen Meineid nicht!

Könnt ich das noch einmal hofen,

Der Geliebte kehrt zurück

Fühlte sich sein Herz gebrochen,

Ewig dauernd wär mein Glück.
