16 and 17 year old girls going Night Fishing on a river...

With my daughters boyfriend...They want to know what they should wear and take with them...as far as essentials.

I dont think that it is legal to fish on rivers at night. I could be wrong, check with the local department of fish and game.  Ill be willing to bet you something fishy is going on.. haha

The only night fishing that i know of besides ocean, is catfishing in the lakes.

But if they are going fishing, take fishing pools, bug spray, matches, and a net for fish.

IF they plan on camping as well,  take sleeping bags, tent(optional) a cooler with lots of water, sandwhich stuff, maybe a can of beef stew, and whatever else they want to take.

Shouldn't be any need for warm clothing this time of year.

Bug spray, toilet paper, variety of snacks and refreshments, filtered water, wear clothes in layers( you can always take clothes off when your hot, getting cold in the middle of the night because of not having enough clothes will ruin the trip), small first aid kit, flashlight, matches or lighter. 40yr exp
