Question:

16 and need a job. advice?

i already tried to get jobs at places within walking distance. the one job i tried as a bus boy was too hard for me. i don't have a ride and i don't drive. any suggestions on what i should do and whats a good place or store to work at and what would be easy?

  4. how can being a busboy be hard unless your handicapped???? Just apply everywhere and make sure you follow up

  7. do you know a second language? if so, tutoring. also, you can tutor stuff like instruments or english ext. also sports. like, if you play one, you could offer hour lessons for something like 10-20 bucks. you surely know one of those things

  9. Try to find your closest grocery store or fast food place. If I were you though, I'd try to go find a job life guarding at a pool. You get really good money from that.

  10. I am sorry but being a bus boy is no harder than most other jobs. If you cannot handle that, you need to really get some advice on your concept of work.


  11. Im in the same position 16 also... I have applied at a grocery store, a place like home depot more local, gas station, movie gallery, another place like home depot lol, hard to find jobs at 16 because you can't sell alcohol or anything till your 17 hope this helps though

  12. apply at a cellphone company. ask for part time.
