16 in largemouth?????

i just cought a 16 inch largemouth bass. i dont know how much it weighs. is it worth mounting or should i just eat it???

Mounting anything under 8LB's is silly, (unless your rich and want to decorate your house with various mounts!).

Throw it back....................

If you want a "fish dinner" get out your Crappie/Bluegill rod and "have at it".......

Crappie/Bluegill are much better "eating fish" than Bass.

It would be a shame to kill a 16" (averaging about 3-5LB's) Bass for a "snack".

it depends on where you were and how many you catch there! if you were on a farm pond or on a public fishing pond i would mount it! but if you were on the lake i would cook it right up!

i caught a 25 incher last week, it weighed about 10 pounds! it was a good catch, but i let it go! i would deff just fry that baby up! eat hardy! :-)
