My son has hardly been eating the past couple weeks. But still drinking. Well the past couple days he's hasn't eaten hardly anything! He's drinking like crazy, but its pretty hot and humid this week. But when do you start to worry when they are not eating? For instance today, he ate some cheerios for breakfast with some milk and than around 2 he ate some strawberries. Didn't really eat anything for dinner - a couple bites of my food. He's drank alot tho. Water mostly. And since he hasn't eaten, I've been pretty paranoid about it and got some pediasure. I gave him two of those today b/c he wouldn't eat anything. i only gave him that and water after attempting multiple times to get him to eat. Unless we were outside, than I made sure he had water handy. So when does it start making you worry about the eating thing? Should I be worried?

  1. I wouldn't worry, just be sure he has the pedia sure. When he gets hungry, he'll eat. Some kids are picky and don't eat much, thats normal for them. I weighed 64 lbs from 4th until 8th grade, and I ate practically nothing for that time span. Every child has different eating habits. Just be sure to give him supplements, and if you really are ThAT worried, call the pediatrician and speak with him about this.
