16 month old screaming constantly

hello all, I'm not too sure what happened, my son is a happy healthy little boy, but within the past week he's developed a scream, and thats all he does is scream, every 10 seconds there goes another little scream. He talks normally, he's fed but man, I dont know what caused this and how to deal with it? any others out there that has had a screaming baby??

I agree with the other - I think he just found a new sound & loves it. Try telling him he can only scream outside & to use his inside voice. Or just let him go until he finds something new to keep his little mind occupied - maybe you could find something for him, music, book, toys that he can pull or beat on that make noise for him.

What kind of scream is it? Is he in pain or upset. He could of just found his voice and now he wants to use it. My 2 year old is a screamer.

you MUST do this, I did it and it worked wonderful

First even if you have just taken him take him to the pediatrician regarding the screaming, he could have fluid n his ears even though he may not have ear infections  or sinus issues.

then if everything else is fine wth him, time to set up rules and timeouts because he can understand you. be persistant. he understands.
