I am having twins and having a 16-week ultrasound today. Is there a possibility that I can find out the s*x today?

  1. Maybe it all depends how the babies are positioned. Good Luck and Congrats!

  2. I found out the s*x of my baby at 14 weeks

  3. No - it's too early.  Having a vaginal doesn't help the chances out anymore than an external.  At 16 weeks the genitals aren't fully formed and boys and girls all look the same.  s*x can't really be determined until after 20 weeks and even then a lot of people have difficulties.

  4. If they are positioned right, yes, but the s*x determination can sometimes be not as accurate until 18-20 weeks. However, I know plenty of people who have found out the s*x at 16 weeks.

  5. There is a possibility, yes, but it's a borderline call at 16 weeks and will depend on the position of the babies and the skill of the technician.

  6. I am 35 weeks now with twins and they couldnt tell till 20 weeks. But at 16 weeks they did look and they thought they could tell the s*x of 1 baby. But it is just to early. Even if they told you today and i would wait till  next months ultrasound to get excited b/c it will be more accurate. I know its so hard to be patient though.

Good Luck and Congrats on the Twins!!!

  7. Congratulations!!

There is a possibility but it depends on the position of the babies.

  8. It's possible but it depends on the position of the children. Congrats :)
