  1. you can't get your M class license in NY until you are 18. So Don't mind me being small minded but where are you from where you want a crotch rocket at 16? your parents probably aren't too thrilled.

  2. go 2 google and type in mini bikes and click the site that says mini bike for 189$ i got an x7 super pocket rocket from tht site and their pretty cheap

  3. First off no crotch rocket...yet..Buy a used cruiser or even a used Ninja 250. It will keep your insurance low but most importantly it will keep you alive. Trust me on this one bro, I just got my motorcycle learners permit. Im 15 3/4. Dont have a bike yet because no one will insure me for any sportbike so I might have to get a cruiser. But I will eventually trade after expirience. Man use your head. Im younger but I studies for more than a year before anything. Dont be another squid out there. Start smaller and then you can get your bike.

  4. GS500F gives you the look of a sportier bike, without such a hard edge that you will kill yourself, it's light, fun to drive, and bulletproof.

  5. Ninja 500R . not too powerful that it will kill you , but enough to be fun.

  6. I'd say get a dual-sport bike. They're plenty fun and you won't break it when you drop it.

But I worry about your attitude... if you're asking for a "cheap crotch rocket" you sound like a statistic in the making.

Maybe opt for the bus pass instead and save your money 'till you're a bit older and can afford the insurance, gear, and bike.

  7. If you  are responsible a Honda CBR600F4I . Because it is fuel injected,  less expensive because it is not a cutting edge race replica. Very neutral handling, most comfortable seating positions for a bike in this class. 600's in general are dosal below 7000 rpm's however when you actually learn how to ride from 7000-14000 they are very fast.  at least more than you will ever need. And wear protective gear! ie helmet etc.

  8. Hey, I am new to but have found a lot of experienced riders don't recommend anything 600cc or over for beginners. I am currently looking at the Suzuki GS500F and Kawasaki Ninja 250R and 500R and those are all in the sport style. But first take some time to really read and learn you know. I have found this site to be very helpful since I am just starting out as well.
