  1. dude look, you have a dream? go get it. follow your dreams, when you were a kid, maybe you wanted to be something ridiculous but the thing is, in reality, you put in ur effort, u get it. So my advice is, get get your dream!

  2. get a ged or go back and graduate. then if you dont want to go to college or tech school do it . Without a high school education you will not be able to get a Job except Mc D's.

  3. In Buddhism we say " Everything is created by mind "

And " You are what you think "

If you think you will be a looser you will be, if you think you will succedd then you will.

  4. ^_^ i sugges u go to comunity college, then tranfer to usc or somethin. i bet ur a smart. u can do it. dont give up!

  5. Computer skills are very useful in this time period- if all else fails then i suggest researching computer work more and doing your own business. I'm also sure that if your creative you will find a way to Incorporated your second language into that to stay ahead. However i suggest getting a GED and upgrading course's, even if you do end up going with computer work as a job because self advertising does not look well when you have only yourself saying you can do something. Also computer work can be temporary so you can finish high school and upgrade so you can get a job you like.

I also suggest looking at all your options, and also listening to other advice you get as well as looking at things that may intrest you that you can reach now, and  also to find things interesting for the future that you can set as goals.

Lastly don't le an opportunity slip by- and don't necessarily listen to me if you find better advice. Find something that works for you and find a way to set whatever it is up so it works in the future for you.

  6. who said so?

  7. Go back to high school and finish.  I know so many people in their 20's who are trying to get their GED now and wishing that they had finished high school before.

There are tons of career for people that are good with computers, technology is the future, go with it.

When you are done high school, go to college.  You will love it.

  8. Just why did you drop out?  Figure that one out first.

Then decide if you wanna try to get back in or take a exam for equivalency.  Either way you will need the diploma before seriously considering university.

But afterwards you sure can have a decent paying job as an IT tech or something similar relating to computers.  Web design is getting harder and harder to get into as many companies simply create their own (dreamweaver and all you know).

Check our the colleges and universities nearby and see what they offer in computer sciences.  They got counselors who can help you plan out a degree and what courswork you will need for it.  And if you gotta work they can tailor classes for times when you ain't gotta work and stuff like that.

  9. Okay. You can definetly find work with out a G.E.D. But most of them are jobs that require hard labor and really arent the type of jobs you want to be doing when you're 50! I think you really NEED to get your G.E.D. Most jobs want you to have atleast that. My bro got his G.E.D. through a outreach center and he said it was soooo much better than going to high school. Maybe check out some local places that offer G.E.D. programs.

And I think if you're into computers you should really pursue that field, if being in-class isnt for you-check out online courses, just remember to stay motivated.  There are several compurter based majors that most colleges offer and you would make really good money.

My personal oppinoin, I don't think you will get very far with out a G.E.D. :/

  10. this is sort of obvious going back to school? your not going to go anywhere without even a high school diploma... If you go back and finish school there will be a lot more opportunities. that would be the best thing to do for now if you hate high school why not give homeschooling a try? thats what im in and I am 16 quit my high school back in January.

  11. My young friend @ 16 you have your whole life ahead of you and a big future waiting  for you to go and fulfill.  First off, don't drop out of school!

All your going to do is drop back in later. You need your education these days to even clean peoples toilets.

You sound very intelligent, why  throw that away?

Computers are  another way of life and big$$, your on the right path and speaking Spanish is excellent.

    best wishes my friend.

  12. At 16 years old, you really do have your whole life ahead of you. I would suggest however taking up a college course in somthing you ENJOY.. If you're good at it, it's just a bonus!! And I dropped out of school at 16, and I did ok. I did a few courses, some I enjoyed some i didn't and I ended up a receptionist. Just try and stay positive, and think about what makes you happy.

  13. I am 16 too,  My networking(cisco:ccna) teacher says that "cowboys" (people without qualifications) because people with qualifications know how to do things better, and people trust them more, so if you want to do something in computers i suggest you do some tertiary training. tertiary training is probably the best thing to do now if you think that you have no future. good luck.
