  1. no people do it all the time with delayed flights and layovers.  Just don't tell the airlines, because they may be responsible since your a minor.

but don't worry, there wont be any problems, i know many people that have done this.

  2. Oh god, with all that goes on in an airport 24/7, no one will even notice you being there (no offense). But be smart: Keep an eye on your stuff, and make sure that you don't leave your stuff unattended. If you can afford it, why don't you find a cheap hotel in the JFK area - there are plenty of hotels and most of them offer shuttle service to and from the airport at no cost.

God bless you, an 11 hour layover is NO fun. I would go for the hotel, airport chairs are notoriously uncomfortable.

  3. You wont have a problem...

and for all the "Just rent a hotel" people... This person is only 16... YOU HAVE TO BE 18 TO RENT A HOTEL!

  4. As long as you have a flight to catch and can prove it, you have every right to be in the airport. Your age is none of their business, as there is no rule or law that says 16 year olds cannot travel alone.

PS-Most security people are lazy and will turn a blind eye to anything, as long as their manager isn't watching.

  5. if you can afford the ticket, you can afford a hotel overnight.  Why would you do this to yourself?  Go get a good night's sleep & return to airport in the morning...

  6. no, there are a ton of people who stay there overnight

and i really doubt people are going to look at you and go like "HEY wasn't he here an hour ago?!"

  7. Forget the gaurds get flirting with all the hot guys around there!
