16 year old working in new york?

ok i live in alabama but every summer i go 2 bronx, new york, and i stay for the whole summer.

if i get a job during the summer, am i required to get a work papers??

if so, where i get them from besides a local school.

ps....make sure u have a source plz

  1. What he said, if your employer is the owner of a small private business, such as a deli, bakery, tailor, general store, you dont need papers. I have friends who work at a bakery and even a restuarant without papers.


  2. Legally, you need papers but when the employer is not strict, you need not have working papers.
