1600 Lumens vs 2500 Lumens

I have had experience using a projector with 1100 Lumens and it was not bright enough for such bright light rooms and the picture was hard to make out. I have experience with projectors but have not known what Lumens they used.

Is 1600 lumens bright enough for a business presentation with bright ambient light front ceiling lights?

Or is 1600 Lumens not good enough and 2500 Lumens is required to see the projected imagethrough all that bright ambient light front ceiling lights?

Or is 1600 Lumens good enough and 2500 Lumens is not needed?

I am buying a new projector either with 1600 Lumens, or 2500 Lumens? The new project buying needs to be used for business presentations where the lights can't be dimmed.

Any one with experience with projectors that have 1600 Lumens, or 2500 Lumens your knowledge is very appreciated

Thank you

  1. Why don't you ask for a demo and check for yourself?

I am sure 2500 will be better, but that's why there are sales people, to do demos.
