Hello everyone. I am about to start training at 360 combat club (krav maga) and they require that I get 16oz gloves. Well, I am 5'4 and I bought a pair of combat boxing gloves from the internet and just got them today. THey are huge! I called the guy over at krav maga and he said that they are suppose to go past my wrist for protection but it takes more than half my forearm and I can just take it off easily witout doing the straps. Should I get different size gloves? But when I bought the gloves, it didn't have a size like small, med, or large it just goes by weight. So are all 16oz gloves going to be this big?

  1. Where did you get your gloves from? I have 16 ounce bag gloves one from ringside and one from everlast and neither do that for me and neither do my sparing gloves from ringside. Also how old are you? If you are young and still growing then you will get bigger and then they will fit you better when you grow. 16 ounce gloves will always be quite large, In fact I believe they may even be the largest size used in boxing

  2. get the 14oz
