16th birthday - party ideas?

Question

im 16 in november and i need to think of a good party idea i dont have parties for my bday that often so i want it to be special.

but downside - cant spend very much but dont wana make my mates pay cos thats s***k.

any ideas? i live in notts btw

Ok a themed party would be good because the guests are paying for their outfits themselves so no money lost there. I suggest you should use monochrome, very popular and very interesting. For the venue use the house if allowed or a local village hall. Both should be fairly cheap. You could maybe see if anyone an your family knows a dj who is good and works cheap. Bring your own cds for music or get songs from the software cabos (very good for music). Buy food from tescos if possible as they are quite cheap. Invite your mates with handmade or computor designed invites and have a blast!
