Question:

17 and in need of a sport!!

I used to be in gymnastics when I was younger and had skates and all that jazz but I havnt done anything sense i hit age 12 and i'm 17 now. I sit in front of computers all day at my job and at school, I need something to take the stress off. I would take up gymnastics again but im not goin to struggle in front of little tykes.

  1. you could do boxing,mma,etc or play paintball,paintball is great fun

    all good stress releivers  


  2. Martial arts learn how to fight and sparing really helps stress.

    p.s. judo is throws and you always need someone to throw REALLY helps stress.  

  3. Cross country is nice but you have to want to do it.  

  4. you can try vollyball. that is great sport that doesnt require good fitness. useing ur mucels and force, its like hitting someone or thing lol. u can also try basket ball for a solo if u dont have a friend to play with. with vollyball if u dont have someone i guess u can hit it against a wall. and tenis. i did all those sports when i was out of shape and it was easy and fun.

  7. why not try:

    -Basketball

    -Soccer

    -Tennis

    -Acrobatics

    -Lacrosse

    -Badminton

    -Netball

    -Volleyball

    Then there are other sports like:

    -Swimming

    -Diving

    -Horse Riding

    -Water Polo

    Or you could try a martial art like:

    -Ninjutsu

    -Karate

    -Boxing

    -Jujitsu

    -Capoeira (incorporates dance and brazilian martial arts, i did it for a year it's a lot of fun!)

    Or if your just looking to build up your fitness a little, why not join a gym or start pilates, yoga, something like that.

    I think you should call up the place where you used to do gymnastics and ask them is they're donig any less serious classes.

    That's what i did, i did gymnastics for three ears then quit.

    I wanted to start again but wasn't interested in competing, so i started Tumbling.

    It's basically working on floor owrk, basic shapes, and competitions are optional.

  8. I think, u shud start skateboarding, it's a sport that is hard to do at first but when u get better, u get soo many adrenaline rushes, like when u nail a trick or drop a quarter pipe, it makes u feel so alive and happy.

    Its sooo much fun :)
