17 going to be 18 just took road test... question about license?

I'm Seventeen Years Old Going On 18 In October And I Live In Michigan. I Just Recently Took My Road Test and Got My License. Most People Get Their Level 2 License At 16 I Guess Because I Looked Up The Qualifications For A Level 3 And It Says When You Turn 17 It Automatically Goes To A Level 3 License. So My Question Is How do I Get My Level 3 If I'm Already 17? I didn't Ask At Secretary Of State. Does It Change When I Turn 18 Or Do I Already Have It Because I'm Not Sure.

i live in mich as well and from what i know, the level two lasts two years without any at fault incidents or tickets, then you get level three.

i could be wrong but i think thats what it is.
