  1. I think it is because your body is changing...I don't really LOVE being pregnant like some women. I think it helped once I started feeling her move and then once I knew what she was.

I still can't wait for her to be out, but you are not alone.

  2. Oh sweetie, these are common mood swings!!! One day i would love being pregnant and walk around with a silly grin on my face, the next I'd be crying thinking about the responsibility, only to see a cute lil boy at the store and smile again. Your moods are gonna be like a roller coster for a while! If you feel like this all the time then maybe you should talk to your doctor or a close friend/family member.

What i do,  when i am feeling particularly down is turn on some feel good music, dance around a little- get some blood flowin, and either work out, or do something productive for the baby's arrival. If you work out, the endorphin rush will make you feel good, and the fact that you are toning yourself will be SOOO good for your moral when you get to where I'm at (35 weeks) and feel like a big blob!!! lol! Feel better hun, have something sweet to eat or something cheezy *food always cheers me up too, lol*

  3. I'm a guy but I'd love to get pregnant one day!

  4. Yes, I did in the very begining though I am only 8 weeks now. Go do something for yourself, a mani/pedi, a good chick flich with a good girlfriend. Read a good book, something JUST for you! OR go shopping for the baby! :)

  5. Is this your first?

  6. I feel the same way sometimes.  Pretty soon you will be feeling the baby move and seeing your little one in the ultrasound.  That seems to make it more real, like your not just feeling like c**p all the time for no reason.  Dont feel guilty, mention it to your doctor.  It is for sure worth it when its all done and you get to hold that little person your doing all this suffering for!

  7. it's hormones. your emotions are going crazy. it's normal to have feelings of depression and not enjoying every second of pregnancy. don't worry about it too much. talk to a family member or someone about it..that should help out!

  8. This is a feeling I think all pregnant women feel during pregnancy. I know I did, and I talked to my dr. and she offered lexapro for me, but I refused to take it. There are risks involved with drugs. So, she said to make sure I was eating lots of fruits and vegies, indulging myself in chocolate or a massage everyonce in a while, and exercising regularly. She even suggested taking a DHA supplement which is linked to "good moods". All this seemed to help, especially the exercise. Hang in there, you'll have ups and downs but it will get better and easier. Until you are 34 weeks pregnant and stretched to your limits, but you are a long ways off from there.

  9. Hey,

The depression may be because of the hormonal changes. So don't feel guilty. Try the options given by the other members. Additionally you may also try these.

Try to do little shopping and buy some baby posters, comic pictures, small toy kid of things. Decorate your home with those small small items. With less pain you feel lot of pleasure and gradually your depression may go away.

Eat plenty of fruits, dairy products and do some exercise.

Enjoy your pregnancy. Have a great time.
