17-year-old USNTDP player J.T. Compher becoming a player c*m model after the photo shoot
J.T. Compher, a United States National Team Development Programme (USNTDP) player, who recently appeared in the CCM/All American Prospects game, has been striking a lot o poses as he was asked by media to do some for them.
The 17-year-old player appears to be a model as he did all the shoot and surely would have surprised many people who saw him, as they would not have expected a teenager boy to do it in such a way, with all the confidence. After watching the ad many
would get confused if the player is an ice hockey professional or going to become a model.
The Northbrook, Illinois native also surprised everybody when he revealed that this was not the first time that he was doing this type of thing. He did it before at the very young age, when he was just 3-4 years old and he had appeared on the front
of a catalog. He said while talking to NHL.com,
"When I was younger I did toddler modeling and I was on the front of a catalog. I got to keep the red scooter that I was modeling. That was pretty cool."
He also told that he had to use a scooter that was for the ad and at the end of it, he was given the scooter which made him very happy then.
Compher is surely one of the best upcoming players and he could be selected very high in the 2013 NHL Draft. He has been ranked in the A category of the skaters and could be the one to watch when scouts do their work.
Craig Button, an analyst at the NHL Network had a lot of good to say about the 6-foot-, 161 pounder centre, as he said,
"When you look at the package that J.T. has, it's skill, it's a competitive spirit. The biggest thing is, you watch a player that can skate and make plays, but he does it at high speed and at pace and tempo. He's just a threatening player when he has
the puck. And when he doesn’t have the puck, he wants the puck."
