    A 3" pulley at 1725 rpm driving a 34" pulley, the 34" pulley would go 1725 * 3 / 34.


  2. Nope. Won't work.

    1725(2pi/60)(1.5) = 20(2pi/60)r

    r = 1725/20 = 86.25

    You will need a pulley with diameter 2(86.25) = 172.5 inch to run it at 20rpm
