17yr old suffering from horrible menstrual cramp?

Question

any home remedies that relatively fast because i just came on my period and i will be on when school starts tomorrow. i usually take aleve but they dont always work when i begin bleeding clump like things

please share any advice

Depending on your weight and tolerance, 2-3 Advil and a mountain dew, that's pretty much the make up of  Midol If that really doesn't do anything for your sometimes a warm bath /shower helps, good luck.

why dont you get some better medicine.

aleve does take too long to work, ive tried it and i was miserable.

do you have Tylenol or medol?

you can try hot tea to relax your muscles.

try a hot shower.

or a heating pad or warm towel if your have muscle aches.

im sorry your in pain. i get bad menstrual cramps every month.

First, quit your d**n whining. The first time I got my period, it was for ten miserable days. And  I refused medication. The second time, I was at sleep away camp without access to painkillers. And counselers barking at me to run jump do this do that play sports( thank god for tennis)!!!! And you know what else???? I'M NOT EVEN TWELVE YET!!!! SO DONT YOU DARE WHINE THAT YOUR TUMMY HURTS CUZ I DONT WANNA HEAR IT!!!!!! If it helps, I like Motrin or Advil. Thats all.

Well i have had my period for many yrs and have suffered something terrible esp when i was a teen. We have all had to go to school with are period even when it hurt real bad. Take some tylenol and a hot bath and go to school. You will do just fine. Remember this saying ...this too shall pass. Good Luck.

I usually just curl up in a ball and cry. lol.

green tea and deep breaths help too.

Eat a banana (a couple a day will help) and use a hot water bottle on your tummy while you lay on your side with your knees bent.

Consider seeing a doctor because really horrible cramps may be an indication of cysts etc. The doctor may be able to prescribe you some really good pain relievers if tests check out fine.
