My family is going on a cruise this summer and he is the only underage person in our group. He is 17. My mom wanted to know if there was any way he would be able to go into the clubs with us (the 18 or 21 and older clubs) as long as she was with him. He wont be drinking, just so he doesnt get left out? Can anyone PLEASE help me?

  1. a lot of time if u tell the check in people when your birthday is they can let u in like if its less then 6 months aways, if that doesn't work stay something thing then we want all of are money back were gonna sue u should have told us from the start, we even asked and they said we could. then there let u just get there earily to talk to them

  2. Carnival specifically says that people under 18 can be in the clubs up until 10:45pm, but after that they need to hang out elsewhere.

That said, if he looks older and doesn't draw attention to himself, this particular rule doesn't seem as strictly enforced as no-drinking (which is VERY strictly enforced).

You can see an overview of all the lines' age rules (with links to each one's contracts) here:

  3. Im going to agree with PJ on this one.  I very rarely see anyone "carded" to get into the club unless they look VERY young.  just have him walk in with the rest of you like he belongs.  Hang out and dont draw attention to ones self and he should be fine.  if he looks young then there is a club for teens on most carnival cruise ships.
