18,000 people are trafficked into the US annually?

initially did you think 18,000 was a large or small number?

in retrospect, there are 304 million people in the US. i am not trying to implying anything.

I think it is kinda small compaired to 304 million people in the US.

I think the number is horrible.  Why?  Because these people are being used as slaves.  They are smuggled into the US and made to work long hours for no pay.  Some of these people are children who were bought from their extremely poor parents.  It is a terrible situation and I wish there was some way to eliminate the problem.
