18 Weeks Pregnant... Expired Sierra Mist...?

Question

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and I went to the grocery store yesterday... the veding machine was out of water so I got a sierra mist instead. I didn't drink that much of it but today I pulled it back out and took a sip and noticed that it expired June 23rd, meaning two months today... will that harm the baby

No, you didn't get sick or anything so it will be fine. Are you sure it wasn't June 23rd 2009? ;o)

First off, i highly doubt it harmed the baby, especially if you didn't drink much of it. secondly, i highly doubt the drink was expired. i'm sure the date was june 23rd 2009. i just looked at the expiration dates on the cokes in my pantry that i bought a few weeks ago and it was april of 09. sodas takes waaaay long to expire and i sincerly doubt that the coke has been sitting in the machine for a year.

I wouldn't worry about soda..if it was like meat then it would be no good but I'm sure your fine.

i don't think so, but i wouldn't eat or drink anything that's expired.

Soda doesn't really expired.  It's canned.   The 'expiration date' is more of a guideline as to when it's best and fresh.  For most of my life soda never had an expiration date until only the last decade or so.  What did people do before that?  Died off?  Nope.  It's fine.
