Heres my situation...

My friends dad has land on St. Barts, and he said we (his son, me, and another friend) could move out there after we graduate highschool. We have to provide everything for ourselves of course, and that is where I could use some help. Does anyone know how much it is going to cost to live out there (per month)? This would include food, bills, etc. (We don't have to pay rent or anything to stay on his land though) My next question regards a long term stay visa. Is it possible to attain this without medical insurance? Right now the ONLY thing stopping us from going is the visa and the only thing stopping the visa is the medical insurance. Is there ANY way around this? Also, it would prob take me 6months-1 year to get basic creole down, so how will we fair speaking english over there? Also based on how much its going to cost for us to live, what type of job and job hours would we be looking at? Any other comments or thoughts are apprecaited!
