My dad just recently turned the title over to me and dropped me off his insurance. Is there a place I can go for the best deal on insurance? Maybe a company for people in my situation?

  1. go to www.gocompare.com , its where you enter all your details and they compare all the prices of insurance so you can find the right one for you , it takes less than 5 mins , i've done it and it helps .

  2. Well, now that you are off of your dad's insurance, your rates will definitely go up, but that doesn't mean your insurance premium has to be outrageous.  There are some insurance companies out there that specialize in insuring teen drivers.  The best thing you can do to get a good deal is to do your research and shop around for the best quote.

Make sure you compare quotes from 3-5 different insurance companies.  The site below is a great resource because it allows you to get free quotes from all of the insurance companies in your area by simply entering in your zip code.  After you have looked at a few quotes, you can pick the insurance company that gave you the best rate.

    Good Luck! Hope this helped!

  3. It completely depends on what state you are in and what your driving record is like. Most companies that base off credit rating will not change the rates at your age.

  4. get a free online quote here...

    http://www.autoinsurancepros.net

keep pricing around till you find what you can afford.

  5. You can try this company - http://autoinsurance.maclenet.com - I personally have their car insurance. As I know they have more affordable insurance policies for teens and first time drivers.

  6. Yes, go find an independent agent that can search his data base for the best deal for you in your situation.  At 18 though, it will be high no matter what.  Good luck.
