18 and strange bleeding?

ok so im on the pill for 3 years this month i have missed 4, and now im beeding for the past week , sometimes dark brown sometmes its red or pink

my period is due next week is my body confused?

could this be a pregnancy sign

my stomach feels bloated

it dosent hurt when i pee or anything

whats your verdict?

It sounds to me like a breakthrough bleed but because you have missed 4 pills it would mean that if you have s*x you are not going to get protection so i would use a condom to be in the safe side .

if you had unprotected s*x during those days, you might be be pregnant if not there might be some changes, consult your doctor. if you have also missed you period, its advisable to do a pregnacy test.....goodluck.

It doesn't sound good, but you know your period can come early and late, perhaps your body is confused.

I would definitely check with a doctor, although I doubt it is anything very serious.

You are completely unprotected right now. Your body sensed no more hormones being pumped into it and now it is bleeding.

Have you failed to use condoms as you should? Then it's possible to be pregnant.

It would hurt to pee if you had a urinary tract infection, and blood caused by that obviously does not come out of your v****a.

Protection does not guarantee readiness for s*x.

to be honest i doubt that your pregnant i used to get this all the time i was on the pill for 6 yrs and i was awful at taking it i would miss it all the time anything from 1 to 5 pills a month and if i missed too many i would have my period early this is because the whole time your on the pill you never have what doctors call a true period you have a chemical induced one ,,,, and by missing a pill you end up coming on early also although i know alot of people do fall pregnant while on the pill it is very unlikely that you would as most contraceptive pills contain progesterone and oestrogen hormones that stop you from becoming pregnant by stopping your ovaries from releasing eggs and by thickening the vaginal fluid so that sperm cannot get to the womb and also change the lining of the womb so that a egg cannot implant there and grow so i would probably say that the bleeding is due to you missing your pil to many times and the bloating is a side affect of that just the same as you feel bloated when your on normally i would carry on your pill next month as normal and if you miss a period completely that month i would take a test and go to the doctors hope that helped xxxxxx

It's probably withdrawal bleeding because you missed too many pills (in other words you got your period early because of it). But it could also be pregnancy because you missed too many pills. You should take a pregnancy test next week around the time your normal period would have been due.

if you missed 4 pills, then your period may be early because of the change in hormones.  Take a pregnancy test if you're not sure, and use a secondary form of birth control, like a condom, until you can get things back on track

Its also possible that your body is adjusting to the pill and its not working as it should.  I took seasonal for almost 2 years and started bleeding off and on for a month..  things resolved themselves when I got off the pill and started a different kind.

I'm not a doctor, and you should probably see one. But it sounds to me like you don't have enough of the pill in your system. Do you remember if this happened when you got on the pill? Because that's what happened to me.
