I am 18 and my boyfriend and I got very close to having unprotected s*x. I am very worried because I was suppose to get my period friday and never got it. I still have not gotten it and it usually is pretty regular. My b*****s are tender but I took a pregnancy test yesterday (4 days after I was suppose to get my period) and it came up negitive. I have not been exercizeing much lately but I have been a little on the stressed side. Could I be pregnant?

  1. The first sentence was all that was needed to know if you're pregnant. There's a possibility. Take another test tomorrow to make sure. Reality is whenever you have unprotected s*x you CAN get pregnant.Be more cautious next time.

  2. Very close to having unprotected s*x??? Why would you be worried if it was not unprotected??

  3. Give it 2 weeks, that way your hormones can be detcted easier to see if you are.

  4. take a few more pregnancy tests in 2 weeks than see ur doctor if u still miss your period.

  5. it's possible just take another test if it says negative ur probably not pregnant

  6. Alaina, wait another day or two and then test again. Stress does indeed play a role in whether or not your period arrives on time because the more stressed you are, the less likely it is to happen, and yes, there is a possibility you may be pregnant. It's possible to get pregnant WITHOUT having actual intercourse- all your boyfriend needed to do is spill a few drops of s***n or pre- ejaculate anywhere on or near your genital or vaginal area, and it can happen. Sperm are quite tenecious, and they can survive for brief periods of time outside the body. This is the reason why you need to use a condom or be on the pill, if you are going to play around- because doing either would have prevented this situation entirely.

So I would test yourself again in a day or two ( and please, ignore what that ignorant kid said about waiting two weeks after a missed period to test- that's just NONSENSE, because today's tests are sensitive enough to detect even MINUTE amounts of the pregnancy hormone HCG, even as early as one day late) and if it's positive, make an appointment with your doctor and start getting the medical care you need. You also need to tell your boyfriend that he's going to be a father, and decide what you're going to do about the baby.  Good luck.

  7. possibly, try a test next month or due period, or go to the doctor

  8. you did or didn't have unprotected  s*x?

  9. your prob not and no period is perfectly regular dont freak out see a doc just in case

  10. Did you have any sexual intercourse at all, whether it be protected or not?

Since you didn't have unprotected s*x, your chances of being pregnant are small, but if you miss your period by two weeks, take another pregnancy test.

  11. a lot of the time when you get stressed your period becomes irregular so it could be stress.

  12. i dont think u are. u might wanna go to the doctor tho

  13. you have to wait at least two weeks after missing your period to take a test. and yes its always possible

  14. How close? and have you gained weight? the stress might be affecting your period, also your period will change at times so it flows close to any time your closefriends/mother/ or sisters had it

  15. It could just be stress!! You say you got close to having unprotected s*x, so im guessing you didnt. . .I'm abit confused by that!

  16. Don't worry too much about it.

Probably stress.  I'm on birth control for 3 years now and extremely regular; however, I've skipped a month before without being pregnant.

    It happens.

My advice- take a second test about a week from the last one, and if it's negative take it as a negative.  Wait and see what happens next month.  If you don't get it again make an appt with the doctor.

By the way- the more you THINK you are pregnant the more you THINK you have symptoms.

    Good Luck.
