18 days til start of sophomore year, what to do?

I still need some more clothes and a backpack and stuff, but I'm more worried about how the workload will stack up. Between AP World History and Advanced Science I'm wondering if I'll have time to breathe.

im going into that grade too! i heard AP classes are easier then regular classes. (but thats my school) just plan a week(like next week) with stuff yu need to do. Like shopping, hair(if thats none of your things), etc.

Don't worry, you will do fine. You woul;dn't have been allowed to take those classes if your previous teachers did not think you were ready. As for the workload, sure, it might take a little more time to do your homework, but think of the benefits that you can get from learning all of these new things. So, you might have to miss American Idol or The Hills or whatever show you watch, but in the end it will pay off.

Good luck to you! Main advice: don't stress out. The waiting and worrying always seem worse before hand, but once the year starts I'm sure you'll relax and have a blast.

Unlike the person above me, I recognize that AP, advanced placement and college level classes, are much harder than normal classes. However, its true that you wouldn't be in that class if you couldn't handle it. And trust me, taking that class will help you out in the long run and even help you skip some college classes (huge time saver!) Props for taking the risk now - it'll pay off for sure!

My advice with dealing with the homework: Stay organized. Yes, generic advice. But even making a personal calendar to help you keep track of due dates and just writing assignments down in one place will help immensely to keep you on track.

If you need a new backpack I would deffinitly spend the extra money and get a jansport backpack because the quality is sooooo much better than the other brands.....I'm also going to be a sophmore!!!!
