  1. So let her walk ...get reins for her most children hate sitting in carts or strollers there's so much to see after all !

My twins hated sitting in the carts..so we got reins for them and my daughter used to love 'helping' putting things in the basket or cart..make it fun for her maybe take a toy with you

  2. ,,,easy dont put her in the stroller use rains we do kids luv being with you,,, by a small shopping trolley and get her to help with all the small things ? kids just luv that kind of thing

  3. At this point, you have taught her that if she screams long enough, you will give in and let her out.  It will take longer now to train her not to do it, but you cannot give in.  Once she realizes that no amount of screaming will get her what she wants, she will stop.

  4. my daughter ignores Allie when she gets loud. This happens sometimes at home and she gets a "time out" - the bigger problem is when Allie either hits or bites. My daughter says no (firmly) and puts her down. Sometimes there will be a LIGHT TAP on the cloth diapered butt that is only sound. Allie knows she's doing something wrong and stops. Crocodile tears and all is better.

This has always the way it's been and they understand that they have to teach her now.

  5. My sister-in-law had the same problem with her 19 month old daughter. She just ignores her. Sometimes people in the store look at her like "why are you not disciplining your child!" but it's the only thing that worked. After a few tantrums and realizing no one is going to pay attention her when she behaves this way, she stopped. Let her throw a fit and keep walking. Don't walk so far that you can't see her anymore, but she'll soon realize she's not going to get what she wants or any attention by doing this.
