18 years ago i agreed with agency to change my birth year to come and work here is it can put me to jail?

I dont have any singaporean boyfriend or any frm other country rigth now. i just want to correction my birth year in my passport coz i upgraded my self here while im working as a MAID. my employer allowed me to take part time course i just graduated last June 28 2008. now i have a DIPLOMA IN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT. I want to have a profession job and to have a permanent residents one day coz i really really love to stay here forever in my life. i sacrifice alot to study just to make my dream will come true one day. no body help me for my course fee $5195.00 i paid installment thats why i can afford this amount. you answered my question awhile ago but thats not true. i wanted to correction my passport not b'coz i found a fiance here. i dont have any boyfriend rigth now. you can ask my employer if you dont believe. is this problem can put me in jail in singapore? or the immigration will send me home? i've been here in singapore for 18 years and vry loyal to my employer.

18 years and you just never got around to change your birth date on your passport?they may think that it was fraud or you fraudulently filled out the passport information.if you have left it this long why change it now?
