18 yr old no job/money wants to live in shelter please help?

can't stay here not eligable for the peace corps don't want to go to iraq for navy, needs a place to stay are there any good shelters in california near the valley area needs a place to live please help

Why is this posted in the "Immigration" section?  Are you an immigrant?  Legal immigrant, here on a temporary visa, or illegal?  If you are not a US citizen, you cannot stay in a shelter.  

Legal immigrants ("permanent legal residents") may not become a "public charge" (rely on any taxpayer benefits or charity) or they become ineligible for naturalization, and can lose their green card, and their sponsors are liable for their support and repatriation.  

Those on temporary visas must work for the employer who obtained their employment visa, or for other types of visas, have sufficient funds to provide for all of their expenses.

Shelters are prohibited from taking in illegal aliens under the law which prohibits "harboring," "sheltering," "transporting," etc. anyone who is in violation of any immigration law or visa requirements.

Most shelters require persons who need a bed for the night to line up at a specific time, then they take as many as they have room for.  You need your photo ID.

Are you an immigrant? If not then this shouldn't be in this section and you would probably get more responses in the right one.

If you are an immigrant and you are legal then good luck. If you are illegal go back home and live there.

Ultimately though you find a job!
