  1. it really depends on the cop but most of them probaly would not because the risk is to great. If he started chasing you, you might get nervous and get reckless and lets face it, if you lay that bike down at 180 you may not live to worry about if the cop caught you or not.

  2. Well don't die.

  3. cops are strange when they are using radar to catch speeders, i past a cop that was on the side of the road doing radar and i was accidently doing around 30 over the speed limit (didnt realize it plus the road was clear) and he didnt chase me just remember this if you are speeding and see a cop doing radar you have a better chance of not getting pulled over if you DONT hit your brakes just release the gas pedal and pass him, if you slam on your brakes 99% chance he will pull you over

  4. i dont think a bike can get that fast safely

  5. I would also call the county coroner as well so after you crashed

they pick up whats left of you

hope you have a donor card!

  6. Maybe, maybe not depends on the cop

  7. Most likely the police officer will pursue. Just because you are going a lot faster at the time does not mean he can't use his radio to alert officers up ahead. Depending on where you are they can get an air unit to locate the perp and assist in the pursuit as well. If you are driving this fast on public highways then one of the main concerns is that you are endangering the lives of everyone around you as well as your own. There is no law that says an officer cannot pursue a motorcycle.

  8. unlikely that HE will chase you but he'll radio ahead to anyone who may be further up the road, and all they've gotta get is someone in position to read your plate (or photograph it which is even easier) and you're busted anyway, and probably with a jail sentence for speed that excessive, kep it on the track for that

  9. No ,he would just radio the next county to have another cop arrest you ,I passed a cop in my WS6 when it happened to me I was going 120mph.

  10. In a lot of states they wont chase motorcycles because they can get sued if the rider gets killed. Besides the odds of catching up to a 180 mph bike are slim.  Ive done it a few times and they dont even bother pulling out.

  11. unfortunatly yes they done a mate of mine doing 170 mph

  12. That's why they have radios.
