Check just what it is that you are asking about. 1833 coins in the 1 cent denomination were copper not gold. If it's gold plated, it's now a novelty piece. If you go to your local coin shop or library, you can get a reference book on coin prices. the "Red Book" is an annual publication for collectors and dealers the prices are always at least a year old and subject to change. Take the coin to a coin show and a coin shop or 2 and ask.
