18month old has bad diarrhea. ome1 help me out?

Today early morning my daughter started having bad diarrhea. She wants to only drink milk and water. I called her dr. cuz she go a REAL BAD diaper rash cuz of her diarrhea. its soo bad that she screams and shakes when i try to change her diaper. I feel soo bad for her i dont no what to do. Her dr d=said not to give water but that's all she is drinking. ne1 can help me out? thanks a bunch for ur time

Its really important to have right  pediatrician,see other doctor and ask all your questions from the doctor.Drinking water is important during diarrhea,if not ask the doctor why.Later start looking for the best pediatrician,often that information you can get from the other moms or nurses.

when wiping her behind use a wash cloth and water- not those wipes.

get her pumped with fluids

might have a tummy bug.

  if she stops playing and lays down lethargic like with a fever also take to er.

expose behind to air when possible for the rash to dry.

think why she's got diarrhea? is it somethimg she's eatten, a bug? take her to the doctors and have her checked out, it's better to be safe the sorry.

If she has diarrhea then she will get dehydrated if she does not drink water ! talk to another doctor.....

after each nappy change use corn starch powder instead of usual baby powder it is so fine that it seems to help alot quicker. try using sensitive nappy wipes with no fragrance or anything..just tell her that once you move the poo that powder will help trust me she will get the idea quickly that you are trying to help, and not struggle as much
