18th Birthday Party Ideas??

Question

I'm planning an 18th birthday party using a function room at a local leisure centre, and would really like a theme for people to come dressed as. Just wondering if anyone's been to a great party with a theme or any ideas??

if your after a hawaiian theme then this inflatable is great for hawaiian party themes, a big 25ft by 25ft hawaiian beach themed bouncy castle and surf simulator hire, both this items gives great party themes and can be used indoors or outdoors.

Hollywood Theme (sunglasses, stars, etc.)

Toga Party

Hawaiian Luau (as a last summer bash)

Famous Person Party (dress like famous person)

Black and White Party

Fairy Tale Party (dress like fairy tale character)

80s Party (spandex, crimped hair, rocker ts, sweatbands, neon colors, side ponies)

Egyptian Theme

Mexican Fiesta

Night in Paris

Animal Party (everyone dress like their fav animal, or in animal prints--also could do a Jungle Theme with the same kinda idea)

Pink Party (dress in pink, everything is pink)

Holiday Party (dress like a specific holiday--mix and match all the holidays so someone comes dressed like christmas, someone else like easter, someone else like 4th of july, etc.)

i am also planning an 18th birthday party, last year when my son was 17 we brought Barny and the veggie tails DVD and we partied until 7:00 !!!!!!!!! it was awesome because we past his bed time buy 3 minutes!! it was the most best day ever! and he became so popular at school that every body still talks about it!! it was great!

THEN I MADE OUT WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND!

Superhero's - Loads of websites do costumes and so am really easy to make

Cartoon Characters - older ones from your childhood, people could go as the power rangers etc

or back to 1990 get some older relatives pictures out see the out fits get the music and the food from the year you (and the school friends) were born?

Disney themed.

Around the world, which can include folks in kilts, geisha girls eskimo's you name it. And your food could reflect that have a around the world buffet as well.
