18th Birthday venue in Perth?

Hey I'm having a HUGE rave party for my 18th in W.A but i'm not sure where to have it. I was thinking about keeping in with the theme and holding it in a warehouse but i can't seem to find anything in the yellow pages.

It seems no owners of warehouses allow people to rent it out for a few hours. If you know of any warehouses that allow parties or where i can look that would be great! Thanks :)

Ha ha! That's a new one :P I'll have to think about that for mine.

The problem with renting out a warehouse and throwing a party is that there tend to be neighbours etc around the area that are not impressed when a whole heap of teenagers are jumping about to loud music next door...

The best thing I can suggest is for you to ring up your local council and explain what you plan on doing. It is more than likely that they would have to give out permits for places like that so they would have it on record (on that note, tell the cops beforehand that you're having a rave themed 18th so they don't bust in half way through thinking you're up to something illegal). If not, you can just get an ordinary venue and make it look like a warehouse.
