19 month still with serious sleep problems?

I have asked this question earlier with good suggestions.

But its getting worse. My 19 month daughter who also has gross motor delay issues, just won't sleep the moment I'm away. She hardly naps all day, fights going to bed in her crib. Even if I managed to get her to sleep and sneak away, she senses I;m gone, and instantly wakes up. I have tried the "cry it out" method, but she cries for 2 hours (mumbling) and yet won't sleep. She is so beat that all day she just lies down and falls plop on the floor. The only sleep she is getting is on the kitchen floor, when I'm doing stuff around the house, finally I give in at night and have to keep patting her 5-6 times all night.

I'm really tired and need some serious suggestions given her inability to walk or talk.

  1. My daughter never slept (4 hours once in a while... Mostly 2 hour increments) Finally, an ENT looked at her and said she had large adenoids.  One week after we had them removed she slept through the night and has never stopped. She was 18 months when we removed them. She was waking herself up trying to breath. (Like when you have a bad cold)

If you didn't already, maybe try an ENT. (Pediatric Ear Nose Throat) I remember what it was like for our whole house when nobody was getting sleep! (For Months and Months) GOOD LUCK!!

  2. What has your pediatrician said about your daughter? Is it just a regular delay, or is there another problem?

Do you have some good white noise? Like a loud fan running in her room?
