I am 19 year old male and in great shape but for the last 24 hours I have felt really hot but I can't sweat. I am drinking a lot of water. My temp is 95.4. I have slight cramping in my lower abdomin. What's wrong?

  1. If this condition continues, don't listen to anyone that is giving you advise on this message board other than that of going to see your doctor.  You have know idea of what any ones credentials are other than the piece of paper hanging on your doctors wall.

A low body temperature combined with a faint feeling and not being able to sweat is not something to take lightly.

    Good luck!!

  2. your tempature is lower than average, (98.6) did you just exercise? maybe you did to much, but I'm not sure I'm not an expert in this section...

  3. I need more information to help out more, but at the moment, I'd say go to the doctor in the morning.  It's very strange to have such a low temperature.  Also, I'd consider drinking a "normal" amount of water, instead of "a lot".  If you aren't sweating, you aren't getting rid of the excess fluids you are taking in.  Are you urinating more than usual? How long has the pain been there? Where is the pain? Lower right or left? How would you describe the pain? Did you take your temp in your mouth? Did you recently drink water before taking it? Are you hot all over or only in certain areas?

Just to be sure, I'd go visit a doctor, but I'd say you are fine.  If the pain in your abdomen continues to get worse, or your temperature goes lower than 95. or higher than 101.5, go see your doctor ASAP.
