  1. Try these sites, I hope they are useful.

    http://statearchives.us/public/kentucky....

    http://www.rootsweb.com/~kymorgan/

  2. Would you believe...I'm a Morgan from the family of Morgan County, KY???  I am also a member of the DAUGHTERS of the AMERICAN REVOLUTION...and I know first hand how difficult it can be to get vital records from anywhere in Kentucky. Maybe the following will help you, I hope it does:

Morgan Co., KY.. formed in 1823. County Clerk's office: P.O. Box 26, West Liberty, KY 41472. Tel: 606 743-3949

    website: www.rootsweb.com/-kymorgan/

    parent counties were: Floyd, Bath.

Kentucky Office of Vital Statistics has BIRTH records from 1911 to present. 275 E. Main St., Frankfort, KY 40621

    Tel (502) 564-4212

In Morgan County, at the County Clerk's office, recording of marriage and land records started in 1823. Probate records started in 1866.

More info at the Kentucky Dept. for Libraries and Archives: 300 Coffee Tree Rd., Frankfort, KY 40601 URL: www.kdla.ky.gov/

Also, Kentucky Genealogical Society: www.kygs.org   You might try these people first. Death records can be difficult to find and they might suggest alternative records, such as probate/will, newspaper obits, cemetery records or church records.
