19000 White Blood Cell Count?

I have been feeling very weak and having chest pain. Dr office took blood and say that my white blood cell count is 19000. I know that it is usually from 4800-10000. What could a white blood cell count this high mean?

Paul B is absolutely correct.  There is no way to tell what a particular test 'means' without the context of everything else that's going on with the patient.

White blood cell counts are very fluid and can shift around a lot with varying condtions anyway. Ask your doctor what it might mean in your case.  I am sure that if s/he is concerned about the result, it will be followed up appropriately.
