  1. First of all what class are you at? It will be a key to determine whether which aspect you should stress if you are in an Linguistic class you might have to focus usage of you language, the information can be as general as you want. As long as you give the audience a clear picture on what had happened. If you are in a Science class you can talk about how it happened, the mechanism behind it and explain it in a scientific way. After getting a focus you can start with constructing a script. It will be a great help for a beginner. (If needed you can memorize it but it might be a disaster in case you can't remember you line) For me i prefer to know the story completely, organize it in a structure matter and just present it freely on the spot.

Remember you have to show confident during your presentation keep in mind that you are the only person that knows what to tell next. In case you cannot remember your line try to skip to the next topic or you can divert the crowd attention by asking comment from others. Just don't panic.

Well I hope this might help you. Anyway good luck for the research and presentation.
