1920'S Motorcycle question?

my son and i are building a very old school replica bike,he wants to add one of those front fender lisc plate/tags like you see on the bikes from the '20s and '30s and also english bikes.the older bikes in the harley archives have these plates attatched to the front fender with the model year on them.no one i have talked to seems to know what im talking about or where to buy them. ANY IDEA'S????????

  1. just make it your self pretty simple get piece of angle iron or aluminum cut and drill and bolt .be more specific


  2. THe last of these fender plates I remember seeing here in the States was on a WWI I surplus Triumph flat-head 500 Brit military bike in  an Army surplus store over 30 years ago.

    Unless you can dig one up in a junkyard somewhere, I'd guess your only hope would be to fake one up from old photos.

  4. Try to find a Harley Davidson store near you.  They mite have what you're looking for if it's a Harley.
