1960-1970 Volkswagon Bug Door Question?

Alright as silly as this might sound this is absolutely a real question. Well I'm 15 and pretty soon I'm going to be getting a 1960-1970 Volkswagen Bug.. bit sure which year yet but one of those years, but I was wondering if it was possible to get like "Lamborghini" doors on a bug.. i don't mean literally those doors but you know how they go up instead of out? I was wondering if I could get a kit to make those doors do that?... or is that just impossible =[

There are a lot of differences between Bugs made in 1960 and bugs made in 1970.

It is possible, but it would foul up the look completely.

It would be like putting a rattle can paint job on a Bentley.

I suggest you just buy a Honda Civic and mod that car up, and when you really learn to appreciate the stock design of old Bugs, buy one and restore it.

There are not many solid and dry Beetles left out there, and doing something like what you want is just a silly idea.
