  1. the Mustang,hands down...die hard Ford fan for over 40 years!...302Boss with a herst 4 speed

  2. Is the '64 barracuda the bubble back window body ??

I've driven lots of Mustangs and also the '64 or '65 Barracuda  bubble back with a 318 V 8.  The 318 without any smog controls will pin you to your seat !!!  It is much more rare than the 'stang.

The A body Fish were replaced by E bodies in 1970.  If you want go go fast there's only two answers  '70 or '71 Barracuda, or 1972 Plymouth Satellite.

I'll take my satellite in Gringo Green, 340 Biturbo, intercooled, waste gate at 11 psi. That gives  a  0 -60 under   4.0 seconds, about all you can put on the street.  Get a radar detector !!

  3. While the Mustang is a collectors dream - they are still a dime a dozen.  Yes, that won't sit well with Mustang fans - but, dang - the Barracuda?  We're talking loud, power and muscle.  The Ford threw in some cheap six cyl - lame'o.

    Barracuda.

  4. The 'Cuda, in excellent condition, is probably worth more as there aren't a lot of them around. But the rarity makes them way too costly to risk driving. If you want something that you can drive, enjoy and is reasonable to maintain, you can't beat the Mustang.

  5. the barracuda because with the small block 273 those came with they will out perform a small block ford engine,i have owned two of those cuda,s and they both ran really good, the 273 was the fastest revving engine chrysler ever built,it would grab its rpms, faster than any other engine they had out, good luck
